Accomplishments: He earned a Bronze star by heroically taking control of the platoon. Our soldiers were cut off from help and to hold the ground where they were at. With many high ranking soldiers dead or critically injured SSgt. Clyde Taylor took over leadership of those left to fight. His quick thinking in the face on death saved not only his life but the lives of his battle buddies.
