Accomplishments: While serving on the USS Francis Scott Key, the submarine crew was awarded two consecutive Battle Efficiency "E" awards with a third consecutive Battle "E" awarded shortly after I left for shore duty. To my knowledge, the record of three consecutive Battle "E" awards, has not been broken.When leaving the Francis Scott Key, I was awarded a citation from my commanding officer for superior performance while serving as a Machinist's Mate. "Petty Officer Callison consistently demonstrated outstanding judgment, technical knowledge and perseverance." I received the Navy Unit Commendation from the Secretary of the Navy for exceptional meritorious service as a member of the submarine force, United States Atlantic Fleet while conducting the first Trident missile conversion back-fit and evaluation completing the back-fit ahead of schedule and participated in the highly successful C-4 flight test program.
